Dawn Carrington is the co-founder, Editor-in-Chief, and Business Manager for Vintage Reflections and she's been involved in writing for over twenty years. Growing up, her imagination was her best friend and when she grew older, she parlayed it into a writing career. A multi-published author of over thirty novels, Dawn is also a freelance writer/editor/ teacher for various online courses to help aspiring writers.

 

 

Michelle Ruopoli is the co-founder of Vintage Reflections. She’s enjoyed writing fiction for over twenty-five years and realized her creative imagination had great promise at an early age after having received a prestigious DAR (Daughters of The American Revolution) award for her composition of a history essay. Michelle has been actively involved in limitless, literary terrain to include poetry, song writing, children’s' stories, and even journalism. Michelle compiled, edited and participated in the poetry anthology, Traces of Love, which was published by Vintage Romance Publishing.

 

 

Deb Curwen is the co-founder of Vintage Reflections. A career paralegal, she has been writing romantic fiction for well over twenty-five years and had her first romance novel published in March 2002. She has written for several publishers and her holiday rhyming story, The Christmas House, debuted from Vintage Romance Publishing in December 2004 with great success.

 

 

Alexis Poore is the administrative assistant.

 

 

Rene Walden, of BG Designs, is the Cover Art Director and website designer for Vintage Reflections. An experienced graphic artist, Rene has been with Vintage since 2006 and maintains the website as well as creating award-winning covers and managing the design team.

 

 

Shelley Patten-Forster is the illustrator for Vintage Reflections' children’s books. From a young age, Shelley had strong passions for art, reading and figure skating. Her art started out by drawing animals and portraits. By age twelve, she was able to draw portraits from a live model as well as photographs.

 

Over the years, she has worked with many mediums such as pencil, charcoal, acrylics, oils and craft paint. Various projects included portraiture, children's book illustrations, local area school and business windows, wall murals and canvas paintings.

 

Her most recent work, landscape and space art, is in Art Exhibitions & Shows and contributed to Silent Auctions for local Charity Organizations and Schools.

 

 

Judi Spooner is an illustrator for Vintage Reflections' children's books. Judi has been an educator for nearly thirty years, having taught a multitude of courses, including Spanish, English, and art.  A graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, she is currently the art teacher at a large Christian school in Raleigh, North Carolina.


While a teacher in South Carolina, Judi was also an elected member of Berkeley County Council for twenty-six years, serving as the Vice Chairman of Council for many years and chairman of several committees. 
 

Married for forty-six years, she is a mother of two grown children, grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of two, a breast cancer survivor, avid gardener, and part-time caretaker for her ninety-year-old mother

 

 

M.L. Benton is a cover artist for Vintage Reflections. As owner of Moonglade Designs, she has created numerous award-winning covers and websites.

 

 

James F. Ruopoli, III is the creative designer for Vintage Reflections. As well as designing the logo, he is instrumental in helping to maintain the cohesiveness of the website design and continues to work as an advisor for the design team.

 

 

Stephanie Taylor has been writing for over twenty years.  She lives in Alabama with her husband and is a mother of three by day and a writer/editor by night.  Her first book, Doubting Thomas, will be released in August of 2010.  Stephanie knew she was meant to be a writer at a very young age, but it wasn’t until she was older that she became serious about the craft.  She loves to entertain others with a good story and, as an editor, enjoys helping others achieve their dream.
