John Deffes was born and raised on the Navy's premier air weapons test
station in the middle of the Mojave Desert in California called China
Lake
It
was a fun and exciting life for a young man. After school, a tour with
the U.S. Navy brought John to Jacksonville, Florida, where he currently
resides with his wife. John has lived in Florida for the past
twenty-seven years. He is busy writing the sequel to Until My Last
Breath.
